Why don’t any of the filthy-rich Arab Muslim Gulf States have to take in any Muslim refugees from Syria while Europe and the U.S. are being forced to?

Western media are reporting on the Muslim refugee crisis as a humanitarian problem for the West only. But where are the media questions about the huge financial and land resources available in the Arab Gulf states of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE? Why isn’t the UN forcing these petrodollar-rich Arab Muslim nations to take in their Muslim brothers?

A political cartoon pointed fingers at the Gulf nations for their inaction, with a caption which read: 'Refugees welcomed by: Saudi: 0, Kuwait: 0, Qatar: 0, Emirates: 0, Bahrain: 0'

Liveleak  The world is often lectured to about the urgency of respecting Arab and Islamic brotherly love, but where is the Arab action to rescue fellow Muslims and Arabs from the claws of ISIS?

Where are Arab feminists, especially those who demonstrated against France for banning the hijab? They are silent and doing nothing to rescue thousands of women that are victims of Islamic jihadist rape and enslavement. The only compassionate women helping women in the Middle East are the Christian mother Teresas and Kayla Muellers of the western world.

Where are the mighty Arab armies who waged dozens of wars against Israel? Why aren’t they fighting ISIS and building tent cities in the vast deserts of Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and the wealthy Gulf States? They are all claiming they are “moderate” Muslims and that they are against ISIS. But is one substantive thing they have done?

Where are the thousands of Islamic human rights groups operating in the West, the likes of CAIR and ISNA, who are dedicating their energy and millions of dollars to stop discrimination against Muslims and “Islamophobia” in the West? This is the same West that their refugees are escaping to.

Where is the wealthy Arab League to coordinate safe cities on Arab land that extends from Morocco to Iraq and from Northern Syria to Sudan?

refugeesIt is obvious that Arab and Islamic governments have not prepared or planned for the consequences of Islamic turmoil all over the Middle East. The refugee crisis should have been expected and a disaster was waiting to happen ever since the Arab Spring failed to produce an Islamic State in Egypt and ISIS emerged in Syria. But Islamic countries have ignored the humanitarian crisis resulting from the barbaric behavior of the Islamic State.

Below are some of the reasons why Muslim countries rarely prepare for disaster to save lives of other Muslims and heavily rely on the West to rescue victims of Islamic jihad:

immigratiA

* Muslim countries know that the West will take care of their mistakes so they don’t have to avoid the negative consequences of their actions.

* Western countries quickly come to the rescue, open their wallets and land to prove to the world that they are not Islamophobes.

* Arab Muslim countries lack compassion and action to rescue each other despite the rhetoric of Arab/Islamic unity. Saudi Arabia and Gulf nations NEVER open their borders to poor Muslims in distress. Even Egypt rejected the Darfur refugees who were later forced to go to Israel, which took them.

* Oil rich Arab countries make it very difficult for other Arabs to visit except for hajj. They are very tribal and refuse to dilute their culture with influx of foreigners. Third world country workers are treated inhumanely and are rarely given permanent residency, citizenship or equal rights as citizens.

* Arab Muslims would rather spend their petrodollars on expanding their influence in the West rather than making life better for their own citizens or supporting other Muslim nations who are financially less fortunate.

* Islamic groups believe that refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan will spread Sharia in Europe and North America, which is the main goal of jihad.

* By clearing the area from the opposition and citizens who are not contributing to the empowerment of ISIS, clears the way for ISIS to expand beyond Syria and Iraq. Europe and America are absorbing the opposition to ISIS, so why stand in the way?

* Life and saving lives and avoiding human tragedy are not more important than jihad in Arab Muslim culture.

Why is Obama providing U.S. military air cover for ISIS and al-Qaeda, but telling us its for the ‘Syrian rebels?’

Let me get this straight. The U.S. is providing air cover to the so-called ‘Syrian rebels’ who are fighting the Assad regime…the SAME regime that the Islamic State (ISIS) and al-Qaeda groups in Syria are fighting. Who does Obama think he’s fooling anyway?

THAILAND: At least 27 dead and scores injured in terrorist bomb attack in front of Hindu shrine in Bangkok

Many of the dead from the huge explosion were foreign tourists. We’re Muslims behind it? Bombers are still at large causing concern about more attacks.

In Thailand’s three southern-most provinces, the Islamic insurgency has claimed more than 5,000 Buddhist lives since 2004 as Muslims use violence to force the Thai government to let them have their own Islamic state in southern Thailand. (See links below)

Give me a Coke, no ISIS please!

The IT chief at Bangladesh Coca-Cola is one of two men who has been arrested as an Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist suspect. Maybe the CEO of Coca Cola America, Muhtar Kent, should be investigated, as well. He is a Muslim, after all.

Unknownal-Arabiya  An IT manager at a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Co was one of two men arrested in Bangladesh on suspicion of planning to fight for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), police and company sources said on Monday. The pair were detained during a raid in the capital Dhaka on Sunday night, said Sheikh Nazmul Alam, a senior official of the police detective branch.

One man, Aminul Islam, was the information technology head of the multinational company, and worked as a regional coordinator for ISIS, while the other, Sakib Bin Kamal, was a teacher at a school in Dhaka, he added.

A police official and a company source told Reuters that Islam worked at International Beverages Private Ltd, a Coca-Cola unit. The company source, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the case, confirmed the arrested man was the head of IT, and said he had been absent from work for several days.

Police official Alam said the suspects had confessed to having persuaded at least 25 students to join ISIS, the militant group that has captured large parts of Syria and Iraq.

At least 12 people have been arrested in Bangladesh in recent months for suspected involvement with ISIS, and reports of its growing influence have raised fears across South Asia.

Bangladesh, whose population is around 90 percent Muslim, is already on alert after three secular bloggers including a U.S. citizen, Avijit Roy, were killed by radical Islamists since February.

Turkish-American Muslim Coca Cola CEO to help Obama advance opportunities in Muslim countries only

Coca Cola’s controversial 2014 Super Bowl ad, featuring a Muslim woman in a headbag was 100% political, designed to influence public opinion, propagandizing the people in favor of Muslim immigration. In the military, this is called a PSYOP (psychological operation). Muhtar is engaging in the amnesty for Muslims war.

How much of his salary and Coke’s profits go to Muslim “charities” that are really fronts for terrorist organizations, as most Muslim “charities” are.

ISIS

Annual turnover: $2 billion
Main funding sources: oil trade, kidnapping and ransom, collection of protection and taxes, bank robberies and looting.

Goal: the establishment of an Islamic State in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine, the Muslim holy war against the infidels, Crusaders (i.e. Christians) and the Jews

ISIS is the richest terror organization the world has known. Its annual turnover amounts to around $2 billion, and some analyst estimate the number to be $3 billion.

So how did this small al-Qaeda facilitated group become a huge financial corporation in such a short time? The answer, as in many cases in the Middle East, is oil, and a lot of it. By occupying vast areas of Iraq and Syria, ISIS also took control of many oil and gas fields. According to expert estimates, ISIS currently controls 60% of oil reserves in Syria, and was able to get its hand on the seven major oil and

gas reserves in Iraq, including the country’s largest oil refinery. Using an oil smuggling system developed over years of sanctions against Saddam Hussein, ISIS now sells tens of thousands of barrels every day on the black market. Although this oil is sold at 40% to 75% less than the market price, ISIS still pockets around $3 million every day—more than a billion dollars a year. And that’s just from oil.

Another Prominent capital source is looting. During every occupation, activists loot everything in their path – from banks and armories, food and supplies to the museums and ancient sites. The Syrian city of Al-fought, for example, was looted and antiquities dating back 8,000 years – worth $63 million – were stolen. An especially famous robbery took place at the Central Bank of Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, during which they plundered half a billion dollars in cash and gold.

Other means of raising capital is kidnapping foreigners and collecting ransom. It is estimated that over the past year, various governments paid a total of approximately $ 125 million to release citizens kidnapped by the organization.
Today the Islamic State controls about a third of Iraq’s territory and about a quarter of Syria, covering about 200 thousand square kilometers – more than half of the territory of Germany.

Besides the energy reserves, ISIS took over extensive agricultural areas, which are important sources of food and water, as well as factories, power plants, dams and other strategic facilities. For example, Tabqa dam on the banks of the Euphrates, Syria’s biggest dam, which provides electricity to the city of Aleppo, also provides a steady cash stream to ISIS. Lake Assad, the largest water reservoir in the country, has also fallen into ISIS hands. The organization also has extensive areas in the five most productive agricultural counties in Iraq, responsible for about 40% of the wheat and various kinds of grain in the country. Experts estimate that in total, ISIS control 30% of the domestic agricultural market.

However, the organization is yet to fully exploit its economic potential. ISIS gains more ground, but also loses ground during its battles.  In the territories under its control it has not established an organized system of tax collection and utilization, and therefore does not use its resources to make financial gains.  Establishing an efficient system will increase ISIS’s financial capabilities even more.

FRENCH Television network TV5Monde allegedly hacked by the Islamic State (ISIS) blocking broadcasting for several hours

15fcc90

Individuals claiming to belong to the Islamic State (ISIS) brought television broadcasts to a halt and hijacked TV5 Monde websites and social networks.

France24 (h/t Christian)  TV5Monde’s Director General Yves Bigot told FRANCE 24 that the attack appeared to have targeted the network because it has such an international reach, being broadcast in more than 200 countries. “Obviously this sends a huge signal worldwide,” he said. “This very powerful cyberattack was so that everyone would talk about it.”

france-network-hacked

The hackers posted documents on TV5Monde’s Facebook page purporting to be the identity cards and CVs of relatives of French soldiers involved in anti-IS group operations, along with threats against the troops.

“Soldiers of France, stay away from the Islamic State! You have the chance to save your families, take advantage of it,” read one message on TV5Monde’s Facebook page. “The cybercaliphate continues its cyberjihad against the enemies of Islamic State,” the message added.

Bigot said that the network itself did not appear to have been targeted in the message. “[It’s] about French policy in the Middle East,” he said.

2764354C00000578-3031681-image-a-24_1428567395623

Wassim Nasr, FRANCE 24’s expert on jihadist movements, noted, however, that the message – written in Arabic – contained plenty of spelling and grammar mistakes, indicating that “the authors are not Arabic”.

David Thomson, a journalist at FRANCE 24’s sister radio station RFI and author of a book on French jihadists, added that the so-called “cybercaliphate” that the hackers had referred to in the attack “is not an official arm of the IS group”.

The Paris-based company was able to partially resume television broadcasts by 1:00am local time (2300 GMT) after a three-hour blackout, Bigot said, but added its systems had been “severely damaged” by the “unprecedented attack”. “We’re still not able to produce our news programmes,” he told FRANCE 24, adding documentaries and other pre-produced programmes were being shown instead.

2764356A00000578-3031681-image-m-22_1428567368692

TV5Monde regained control of its social networks by 2:00am Thursday, the director-general said, but television broadcasts were likely to take hours, if not days, to return to normal. The attack would have required weeks of preparation, he added. The hackers accused French President François Hollande of having committed “an unforgivable mistake” by getting involved in “a war that serves no purpose”.

“That’s why the French received the gifts of Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher in January,” it said on the broadcaster’s Facebook page, referring to the twin attacks by Islamist militants in Paris that left 17 people dead over three days and deeply shocked the country.

France is part of a US-led military coalition carrying out air strikes against IS group in Iraq and Syria, where the jihadist group has seized swathes of territory and declared an Islamic “caliphate”.

More than 1,500 French nationals have left France to join the militants’ ranks in Iraq and Syria, where they represent almost half the number of European fighters present, according to a report released Wednesday by the French senate.

SYRIA: Could the Islamic State (ISIS) jihadists be wiped out by a virulent flesh-eating disease?

Or worse, will the foreign ISIS jihadists spread it to Europe, the U.S. and the West when they return from the battlefield? Obama has agreed to admit tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into the country. How many will bring this disease with them?

SYRIA REFUGEES(1)

Express UK (h/t Rob E)  The Islamic State is facing a new enemy – being wiped out by a flesh-eating disease, according to reports. The self-declared Islamic State capital is currently in the throes of an epidemic and a number of members of the Islamic State have reportedly been infected.

Efforts  are reportedly being made to prevent the further spread of the Leishmaniasis skin disease, which is highly virulent, in the IS stronghold.

Islamic-State-Raqqa-flesh-eating-disease-567597

Although organizations began work to combat the disease, this became impossible after IS is claimed to have closed down their city offices. They also confiscated equipment and arrested officers trying to help fight the condition which can be deadly.

The first case of the disease, which is caused by protozoan parasites, was discovered in September 2013. By the middle of 2014 500 people had been affected, according to a network of activists ‘Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently.’

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The disease is spread by flies that are attracted by the rubble and rubbish of war. It can sometimes be fatal and can also cause significant damage to parts of the body it affects.

More than 2,500 cases have been recored in the north-east of Raqqa.  In war-riven Aleppo, the summer heat combined with streets filled with putrid, uncollected rubbish, allowed leishmaniasis to thrive. Doctors recorded tens of thousand of cases of the tropical disease, transmitted by sand flies, that causes skin ulcers resembling leprosy.

Leishmaniasis_ulcer-e13827386232401

ISIS is said to have a residual force of between 3,000 to 5,000 in the city, as they attempt to strengthen their so-called caliphate.

This comes after World Health Organization reported that Syria’s health system had collapsed, meaning that disease was spreading rapidly through a country already plagued by violence.

Islamic State (ISIS) introduces ‘Khilafah Book’ (Caliphate Book), a social network for jihadists to bypass social media bans by Twitter, Facebook, YouTube

kilafahbook

Khilafah means “caliphate” in Arabic, a form of Islamic government which is what ISIS is trying to establish in the Middle East. Kilafah Book is being hosted on “5elafabook.com”, which is a domain registered in Egypt. It was created by Abu Musab and states its admin state/province as “The Islamic State” in Mosul.

Motherboard  ISIS jihadists are masters of social media, whether it’s for spreading propaganda videos, hijacking popular hashtags to gain a louder voice, or attracting new fighters. This week, an apparent advocate of the group launched a site designed to keep fellow jihadis and supporters in touch.

login-page

“Khilafah Book,” or “Caliphate Book,” looks as slick as a professionally crafted, Silicon Valley-based social media site. Using a blue colour scheme, it’s not hard to see the presumably deliberate similarities with Facebook’s design.

In the background, a world map is plastered with images of the Islamic State’s flag in Canada, the United States, South America, Africa, Europe, and Australia. “Connect and share with the people that matters to you,” reads the site in English. “Never miss a thing out! Keep in touch with your fans, customers or loved ones all the time!”

islamic-state

Judging by the generic nature of these statements, which could easily be spouted from any social media project, it seems likely that the site is using a pre-made template, rather than having been built from the ground up.

The site was announced from a corresponding Twitter account on Wednesday, but it’s only started to gather attention now. “Official page of the #Khalafah_book first social networking supporters,” the tweet read, according to a Google translation.

1425825635751398

After logging in, the Facebook-inspired design continues. “May God make you a reason in the conversion of Muslims,” an announcement reads in Arabic. On the right-hand side, suggestions of people to follow are listed, as well as what is “trending.” Users can supposedly post photos, video, music, and text, although the site crashed when I tried to type.

The announcement also states that it’s “forbidden [to] add your profile picture on the website,” although it appears that a few users have ignored this advice. The administrator also asks for prolonged verbal abuse to be reported.

At the time of writing, the site is being hosted by US company GoDaddy, according to a WHOIS search. The registrant’s supposed name is Abu Musab, and his obviously fake address is “Islamic State Mosul, Islamic State, 27222.” The registrant country is then listed as Egypt, which may be where the website creator is located, although this cannot be confirmed.

Even if it looks the real deal, connecting to the site has been pretty difficult. Throughout Sunday morning, the site was dropping in and out. I eventually managed to get onto the homepage and take a screenshot and create an account, but the site wasn’t stable. “Site is in its early days,” an announcement reads in Arabic once a user logs into the site.

jihadi-hacker-main-1

The creation of this site is presumably in response to the recent trouble that ISIS and its supporters have had on mainstream social media sites, with Twitter banning affiliated accounts outright. After this, ISIS members reportedly threatened employees of Twitter, including its co-founder Jack Dorsey (Dorsey now works as the CEO of Square, a mobile payments company).

dorsey-fatwa

However, the ban hammer doesn’t appear to be having much of an effect. A Brookings Institute report published this week found that ISIS may have up to 46,000 accounts.

Even if “Khilafah Book” is a new strategy to subvert the Twitter bans, it seems like an ineffective approach. Surely for its propaganda to be effective, and reach the widest possible audience, ISIS needs to be posting it where the public is, rather than creating its own dedicated site.

MAIN-Tweet

Regardless, what this site shows more than anything is the continuing support of ISIS in the digital realm. Social media is as important a battleground for the group as the front lines of Syria and Iraq, and they are not going to leave the space so easily.

Update: The site announced a temporary shutdown “in order to protect the info and details of it’s members and their safety”.

The Islamic State (ISIS) calls for all churches in Egypt to be destroyed

Hussein bin Mahmoud, a jurist of Sharia law for the Islamic State, said in an article published on February 17 and appearing in various jihadi websites that all Christian churches in Cairo must be demolished.

098_09812_linga_130987_

Raymond Ibrahim  Titled the “Ruling on Egypt’s Christians,” the article, written like a fatwa, asserts that

The ruling concerning the churches that are in Cairo is that they be destroyed, according to the consensus of the righteous forefathers [Salaf], because they are new under Islam, and Cairo is a new city whose original inhabitants were Muslim; there were no churches in it previously.

As for churches in Upper Egypt, which may have been in existence before the Islamic conquest of Egypt, these may remain but may never be renovated or fixed.

The Islamic state cleric cited medieval jurist Ibn Taymiyya (d. 1328), some of whose fatwas deal with Islam’s views on churches which are described as “worse than bars and brothels.” And in fact, Taymiyya and many other jurists (such as Ibn Qayyim) called for the destruction of all churches built after the conquests.

21 Egyptian Coptic Christians beheaded by ISIS

HUFFPO  Many in Egypt have accused the United States, Qatar, and Turfkey of supporting ISIS. The state-run newspaper Al-Ahram ran a front-page story calling Qatar, Turkey and the U.S. the “triangle of the forces of evil.”

1424661317820

Egyptian President al-Sisi has good reason to feel this way. The U.S, Qatari, sand Turkish governments expressed support for the elected Muslim Brotherhood-run government, a product of the Arab Spring, that Sisi and the military overthrew in 2013 in a restoration of Egypt’s autocratic old guard.

ERDOGAN OF TURKEY

This idea seems to have taken hold in Al Aour, the village that was home to 13 of ISIS’s Egyptian victims.

“I have a message to Obama,” Emet Suleiman Shahata, the brother of one of the men beheaded by a Libyan offshoot of the Islamic State, told The WorldPost this week at the village’s Coptic Christian church. “Egypt will be strong no matter what our enemies do.”

Shahata and the men around him interrupted each other in their rush to explain precisely how the U.S. helped make the ISIS atrocity possible. “The United States is the backbone of support for Qatar and Turkey, and they are backing terrorism,” Shahata continued.

YES

Media outlets in Egypt also had promoted the idea that Qatar and the U.S. are aiding terror. On Tuesday, Middle East news site Al Bawaba published a headline that stated: “Strike Qatar…Daesh [ISIS] will fall.”

And on Thursday, the leading newspaper Al Masry Al Youm ran a cartoon showing “Daesh,” the preferred Arabic term for the Islamic State, intertwined with “USA.”

The state-run newspaper Al-Ahram ran a front-page story the same day calling Qatar, Turkey and the U.S. the “triangle of the forces of evil.”

The U.S. and Egypt presently have “mutual frustration,” a U.S. official told the Daily Beast this week. The Pentagon made clear on Wednesday that Egypt did not inform Washington before it flew U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets to bomb ISIS camps near the town of Derna in eastern Libya.

c25ff046f-1

Libya has remained a major battleground for the ongoing conflict between Qatar and the anti-Brotherhood forces linked with Sisi despite the signs of regional reconciliation. The country is split between two militia-backed governments: one in the west composed of both moderate and radical Islamists, which is thought to be supported by Qatar, and a more secular Sisi-backed one in the east, which is internationally recognized but seen as too connected to the old Gaddafi regime.

Sisi has never fully warmed to either the U.S. or Qatar. Both governments expressed support for the elected Muslim Brotherhood-run government, a product of the Arab Spring, that Sisi and the military overthrew in 2013 in a restoration of Egypt’s autocratic old guard.

sisimuslimb2

It is no secret that there is no love lost between Obama and al-Sisi. Obama still supports the Muslim Brotherhood government of Mohamed Morsi and has voiced his opposition to the ouster and imprisonment of Morsi on many occasions. Qatar is the home base for the Muslim Brotherhood now.

U.S. officials did not anticipate Sisi’s government would further complicate the civil war by publicly accusing Qatar of backing ISIS. Despite the fact that Egypt has conflated Islamists in Egypt and in Libya with the Islamic State, it is a serious escalation for Cairo to call a fellow Arab government an ISIS backer.

siEk5A_535

Analysts say this rift is the last thing Washington needs as it considers how to respond to ISIS: Cairo would be on the frontlines of any effort against ISIS expansion in Libya, and a U.S. base in Qatar is the center of the U.S. air war against the militants in Iraq and Syria.

For now, the U.S. has not taken a public position on the Egyptian airstrikes or the subsequent inter-Arab spat. A spokesperson for Gen. John Allen, the U.S. envoy to the anti-ISIS coalition, declined to comment on the situation’s impact on the coalition.
